Have a look around. Everyone around you has this sleeping volcano deep inside.
It might be something good or something bad, and it is very powerful.
It might never erupt or it might erupt at any second, either provoked or just for no reason.
Not everyone is aware of it, but each of us has it.
No matter how calm those turquoise waters are, there is always something underneath it.
And it is not only about others. You have a sleeping volcano deep inside as well…

It is a sentimental painting depicting our Canadian fall season. Suddenly I’ve found that it reminds me a funny three-headed dragon. Doesn’t it?

The theme was inspired by 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire here in Canada. It was massive. Fortunately, there was no casualties. So after I and my wife Oxana made a donation to Red Cross I decided to dedicate a painting to The Beast.
Thanks to all firefighters and all crews who risked their lives fighting the Beast.
